Another month has gone by! My daughter is 13 months and I have successfully settled back into work after having a year off on maternity leave. I am now working full time, and life is busy busy! There is still a part of me that is guilty for working and leaving Madeleine, but she’s enjoying childcare and I’m enjoying having a wage again! The first full time pay check felt so good! After having a year off and struggling with our finances, we are now back on our feet. I’m planning another family holiday, hopefully to New Zealand or Noosa! This post is a little off track my usual mother/baby related topic. But, today my mum was sent in for a scan because they found a tumour in her breast (note: I was granted permission to mention this on my blog). My dad was recently diagnosed with Lung Cancer, and only the worse thoughts have flooded my mind. I am completely blown away to be celebrating a hundred followers! I only started this blog a month ago and didn’t really think much of it. I didn’t think I’d get any followers to be honest. But having readers, especially those who comment, is what drives me to write. It inspires me to be more open and write from the heart.
