I haven’t blogged in so long! I didn’t mean to be away for such a long time, but as you can see by the title, we are pregnant! I’ve been battling morning sickness with a risk of a miscarriage with this second pregnancy and therefore, I decided to stay away until we were sure we’ve made it pass the first trimester! I’ve had a few people contacting me asking if I’m okay and that’s so sweet! It’s great to know people do read your posts and take an interest! Continue reading “We’re Pregnant!”
I haven’t posted in a while. Life has just taken over and looking after my sick child has taken up most of my week. She has been sick for so long now that I’ve lost count. I guess this is what they mean when they say kids get sick alot when they start childcare! This week, alongside with her cold and flu symptoms, she has been diagnosed with mild bronchitis and HFMD (hand foot and mouth disease).

Another month has gone by! My daughter is 13 months and I have successfully settled back into work after having a year off on maternity leave. I am now working full time, and life is busy busy! There is still a part of me that is guilty for working and leaving Madeleine, but she’s enjoying childcare and I’m enjoying having a wage again! The first full time pay check felt so good! After having a year off and struggling with our finances, we are now back on our feet. I’m planning another family holiday, hopefully to New Zealand or Noosa! Do you have any tips for travelling with a toddler? I have traveled with her at 7 months and the flight was not bad, but it wasn’t good either! Continue reading “What’s Happening in September?”
So, I’m not one to show much PDA (public display of affection) and my husband and I are way past the romantic stage. Although we do love each other a lot and have been with each other for 14 years (I think?), the days of feeling butterflies in our stomachs are long gone, but not in a bad way if you know what I mean. He went away for a week with his friends and I am missing him dearly. (It honestly feels weird to be saying that out aloud!) Continue reading “Absence Makes The Heart Grow Fonder”
